HOME  GROUP  FELLOWSHIP

A  place to connect-To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some". This verse is from the New International Version (NIV) and illustrates the Apostle Paul's strategy for ministry: he adapted his approach to different people and circumstances, even acting like those who were weak in faith, so that he could relate to them and ultimately bring them to Christ. The goal of this empathetic and adaptable behavior was to save as many people as possible for the sake of the gospel.

A place to identify and nurture-Christ "gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up". This passage describes specific leadership roles within the church, given by Christ to empower believers for ministry, fostering unity and spiritual growth in the community of faith.

A place to grow-As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." This proverb highlights the idea that positive interaction and mutual challenge between individuals can lead to growth and improvement for both parties. It emphasizes the value of healthy relationships and constructive feedback in personal development.

A place to serve-It's evident in this passage that Jesus instructs the disciples first to “go” and then make disciples by baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This gets at the heart of who God is and who He called His church to be.
